Raw materials
Only the most environmentally conscious textile materials
Recycled cotton: made of scraps from the textile industry of southern India
Banana fibre: made from the discarded stems of the single crop banana plant
Jute: highly effective crop, pesticides free, high Co2 fixation, soil regenerating
Hemp: highly effective crop, pesticides free, high Co2 fixation, soil regenerating
Kapok: pillow filling from the inside of the kapok tree seed, renewable, anti-mould, moisture resistant, flame-resistant
 
Production
Small-scale social and empowerment-focused tailoring units
Tailoring of the products is done mainly by women and at small units in rural areas of India
 
Environmental impact
Using natural materials and waste materials such as banana stem waste and cotton scraps reduces the use of water and chemical spills into the environment
Using waste materials reduces carbon emissions and other greenhouse gasses reaching the atmosphere

Social Impact
The local population is trained and employed in tailoring units
Farmers make an additional income by selling waste materials and low-risk crops
Especially women are employed, - this way contributing to their economic independence and thus empowerment
